Jean-François Lavigne

VICE PRESIDENT, INNOVATION

Jean-François Lavigne is a technology and innovation leader with more than 20 years of experience in the development of electric-vehicle technologies for demanding transportation and industrial applications.

He spent more than 12 years leading electronic-packaging engineering at Dana TM4, a joint venture between Dana Incorporated and Hydro-Québec. In that role, he contributed to the development and industrialization of electric motors, generators, inverters, and control systems serving automotive, commercial, off-highway, marine, rail, motorsports, and specialized-vehicle markets.

Jean-François has also served as president of a mechanical-design services company and provided mechanical-engineering expertise in patent-litigation matters. This combination of product development, intellectual property, and multidisciplinary engineering experience gives him a practical understanding of how advanced technologies move from concept through validation and commercial application.

As a co-founder of LTS Marine and Vice President of Innovation at Voltari, Jean-François helps advance the company’s propulsion, energy-storage, controls, and systems-integration capabilities. His work supports the development of reliable, application-specific electric and hybrid solutions for commercial, government, defense, marine, and heavy-duty customers.
