Jon P. Letourneau serves as Vice President of Operations for our Panama City, FL, shipyard. He brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience spanning shipbuilding, engineering, manufacturing, program management, acquisition, quality assurance, and complex defense program delivery. Jon has led large multidisciplinary teams and major U.S. Navy and Coast Guard programs, with a consistent track record of improving operational performance, managing risk, controlling cost and schedule, and delivering high-quality results.
Prior to joining our shipyard, he held senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Government Programs at Eastern Shipbuilding Group and executive-level roles supporting U.S. Navy shipbuilding programs. Jon holds two master’s degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School — in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Engineering — and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
