HVAC installations are a significant expense in the mining industry and electric vehicles are making significant headway in replacing fossil fuel machines. Medium size diesel tractors are the industry workhorse and are used for multiple use cases across multiple functions. Working with a large diesel tractor supplier to the mining industry in Northern Quebec, VPS designed the integration and supplies an electric powertrain installed in a wide range of mining tractors.
